Investment Banking CertificationQuestion: Will anyone in the investment banking industry hire me if I have no real experience yet?

Answer: A great thing about investment banking is that the industry routinely hires people with no real experience. Investment banking analyst classes are filled with new hires just a few weeks removed from college graduation. Many of these hires will have earned liberal arts degrees, thus not having had the chance for much classroom exposure to topics in finance and accounting. Investment banking work experience is helpful in the hiring process (such as having had a summer internship), but it is also not required. Entry-level candidates without banking experience simply need to demonstrate their willingness and ability to learn how to perform on the job.
