Financial Analyst Certification

Question: Do financial analyst professionals need any sort of license to work in the financial analyst industry?

Answer: There is no one license that qualifies you to be able to work as financial analyst. There is one exception which is the securities industry. The main licensing body for that is the FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority). There may be other licenses required for you to work but it depends on the employer. Usually for entry level positions no licenses are required previously, employers will provide you the opportunity to acquire the necessary license.
