Income Tax: Governments in majority of the countries levy federal, state and local taxes and it is obligatory on the citizens to pay those taxes. These taxes are termed as income taxes. It is mandatory for citizens to file income tax returns every year to determine if they owe taxes to the Government or are eligible for a refund.
